My Roles
- Lead design and development from 0 to 1.
- Conducted design discovery, competitor analysis and market research.
- Developed low to high fidelity prototypes in Figma.
- Developed and conducted user testing framework, collated insights for further development.
- Deployed MVP in Bubble.io no code tool.
- Meet the needs of internal and external Circuiti stakeholders.
Research and Discovery Phase
I began by conducting in-depth desktop research to understand market gaps and opportunities. Competitor analysis helped identify industry standards and key differentiators. I developed user personas based on target audience insights, ensuring the product aligned with real user needs. Conversations with domain experts provided valuable industry context, refining our approach. The process concluded with a structured sitemap and ideation session to outline the product’s core functionality.
Designing and Prototyping the User Experience
Creating a clear design direction started with reference gathering and low-fidelity wireframes in Figma. Early testing provided quick insights to validate user flows before refining into high-fidelity prototypes. User testing at this stage helped identify friction points and usability improvements, ensuring the design effectively met audience needs. This iterative approach laid the foundation for an intuitive and visually polished experience.
Developing and Deploying the MVP
To transition from prototype to a functional MVP, I analysed potential tools and selected Bubble.io for its balance of flexibility and speed. Prioritising features was key as only the most essential elements were carried over to align with project goals and grant requirements. The development phase focused on efficient build and deployment, ensuring the product was test-ready for clients and investors.
Outcomes and Impact
The MVP met key grant requirements, demonstrating tangible progress in product development. Investor presentations were well received, contributing to a successful funding round that brought additional capital into the business. While multiple factors played a role in securing investment, the product’s development showcased Circuiti’s vision and potential, reinforcing confidence in the company’s direction.
